cOuNtiNg dOwN
Today marks the 6th day before our BIG day. We met our helpers till late last night (Friday) and met our two lovely emcees this morning (early Saturday).
Since then, we have prepared a proper copy of the tables arrangement and typed out a copy of the guest list. Many names are in Chinese and that makes it so much more difficult. We shudder to think of how the receptionists (our friends) will deal with the Chinese names. Thankfully (we hope), the parents and the Groom (ie. me) will be at the entrance to stop and screen all guests.
Well, tomorrow is Sunday and it will be a day for the Mother to "an" the bed (ie. prepare the bed properly for the new couple..many children and peace etc etc). We will also wash the New Place with auspicious "ang" (red) flowers' water.
The next few days should be interesting...
